Bicycle Clothing 2015

When we get a person that starts getting into cycling one of the first things we recommend to improve the time in the saddle is bicycle shorts. The big reason is you sit on a small spot so shorts provide a pad to help with that and they stretch so they do not bind on your legs and last, the seams are flat so they do not dig into you.
The next two things we recommend is the other contact points, gloves and shoes. Most of these I find out there seem to work. Some are better then others but in my opinion anything is so much better than nothing. It is just very important you try it on first. So I recommend you go to your local shop and try it on then buy it there if it fits.
In the glove market there is hundreds out there and I must have at least 20 different gloves here at the store but there is a few I stick with. The first is the old stand by the knit back glove. It may not be overly comfortable but I still think it is one of the best and cheapest out there. The knit back does the best at protecting your hands when you crash. The more comfortable lycra ones just fall apart when they hit the pavement. Both help with stopping your hand from getting numb. As you go up the price point the biggest thing I see is better padding. If you donít have a problem with numb hands stay with the cheaper gloves. The other part of the glove market is the winter glove. The trend is a mix of mitten and glove sometimes called a lobster claw. It seems better at keeping your hand warm.       I am focusing on two brands of shorts right now Origin8 and Craft. I have been very happy with both of them but the Origin8 comes out in price being a little cheaper but the Craft is more comfortable to me. But that is just me.
I try and have a few in menís and womanís and different sizes in at all times so come on down and take a look.
