This is what I like a fun repair.
The customer comes in with a request for me to braze on some cantilever mounts. No problem right. Only every shop in a
twenty mile radius says no they can not do it or to go see Steven Willis. But the real fun was in passing he says he
can not get it in to the smallest cog because it hits the frame. Now we are talking. I cut away the inside right seat
stay and hand shaped a cover to keep it clean and keep the strength up. Looks cool now we need a little paint and he
should be ready to go. By the way do you like that little extra hole at the end of the drop out yes that was to mount
a rear derailleur. That is instead of the derailleur hanger bolt. I will get a picture up when it is back on the road.

Not my prettiest work but it has been up and running for about ten years now.
I hand cut a bracket to mount a disk drag brake on a tandem. The tandem came in for its every two year tune
up and it is still going strong. Maybe I should cut a few holes in it to lighten it up a little.
