     Over the years The Bike Stand has acquired lots of new and used parts. These have started to become quite collectable. Who would have ever guessed that. Shipping on all items is what we pay for shipping no handling charge ever. Most of all the items will go by Fedex and go with insurance for about 8.00. We will try and keep the list up dated but feel free to email us at The Bike Stand . I am starting to put up more used parts because I am just about finished with the restoration of three full Campy bikes and my friend Matt just bought a huge pile of old Campagnolo and other vintage parts. I try my best to give real descriptions of the parts but please ask very detailed Questions by email if you need more or better information. I can even get more pictures on some items but please not on some small 10.00 type items. So just email away with any questions about what we have in stock or condition of the parts.       A few things on vintage parts before you go on. First all the parts are kept in plastic zip lock bags and they are all housed in large rubber made bins in the basement of the shop so if you call me up and ask about a part, I will have to go down in the basement find the rubber made bin marked with that type of part you are asking about. Go through all the different parts to find the one you are asking about bring it up to tell you more about the part. So because the shop needs regular retail sales to keep open I can not do it that way please you need to email me all the questions and save the calls for when you want to pay for it. Second thing is this vintage stuff is very fun for me but trust me it is not profitable in any way. The amount of time I have to put into every part I list is so much that it would be better just to sell it off as a lode and go spend more time on the new stuff. Think about it each and ever part that is listed here has to be photographed described and talked about again and again. I get calls asking me to take apart some derailleur to look at the spring to tell them the condition of it. New parts one photograph and one description for one part and I can sell ten of the same with out ever looking in the box. With this vintage stuff I love it and will still play with it but at a cost to making money and paying rent so please try and use your emails to keep the time away from working down for me.

Complete Bikes.

  1. Used-Bob Jackson tandem. Rattle can ugly green on a 23" x 22" center to top with 22" x 22" top tube. The key to this bike is the parts Campagnolo cross over drive cranks, NR tab pedals with the dust caps, Brakes and brake levers, headset, rear rally derailleur and two 27.2 seatpost. Older Cinelli handle bars and captain's stem and to top it off it has older Phil hubs and bottom brackets. The best of everything on a cool but beat frame. If you look carefully at the pictures you will see patches Tom Kellogg put on the bottom of the seat tubes to cover the rust through holes there. My guess would be time to replace the seat tubes before you use it or ride it very carefully at your risk. I am selling this for the owner who just bought a brand new Spectrum tandem from Tom with all new stuff. Yes he just wanted a rider not a collectable one. The owner says he has the rear disk I believe a Phil and he lost one of the lower seat post cradles that he will look for. So given all that he is asking for a price of 1999.99.pictures
  2. Used-Cilo bright red 50 cm center to center and 52 cm center to top of seat tube, with a 53 top tube. Full Columbus SLX frame with a, I believe first generation Shimano Dura Ace 6 speed index down tube shifters. This bike has about 50 miles on it. This bike has been sitting in someone’s basement for it's whole life until it was traded in. Priced to sell at 899.99.pictures
  3. Used-Colnago light blue painted by Joe Bell and never ridden since the new paint 54 cm center to center and 55.5 cm center to top of seat tube, with a 54 top tube. Full Columbus frame with a Campagnolo Super Record reduced group with a Phil Wood BB and a beautiful Ideale 90 leather seat. The rims are Campy Lambda clincher with DB stainless 32 spokes laced to Campy hubs. Cinelli 66 bars and a 10 cm Cinelli stem. The best part, for me at least, is the original dried out Campy gum hoods. If it sells I may be talked out of a set of Colnago pantograph Campy brake levers. The frame was gotten in a trade and built up with parts we had. I say we because this is a friend of mines bike and after he built it up every body was telling him how beautiful it is and how much it is worth. So now he is afraid to ride it so I offered to sell it for him. Priced at 2599.99.pictures
  4. Used-Cycles Gitane 50 cm center to center and 51.5 center to top seat tube with a 53 cm top tube. A nice condition real French bike near the end of the run for the French bikes too. All the parts are labeled Spidel. The story is, as I know it, they saw that the Groups from Campy, Suntour and Shimano were taking over so the French thought they would do a group. The crank and headset are by Stronglight. The derailleurs and seatpost is by Simplex. The brakes look like Mafac to me and the pedals and hubs are by Millard. All of them are labeled Spidel. The frame is made with Super Vitus steel tubing all covered in a Gitane blue. A few chips here and there but a straight and true piece of history. It is on sale for 799.99.pictures
  5. NOS-Gios Torino 53cm center to center seat tube with a 53 top tube too. Beautiful white with a blue panel on the seat tube and down tube. Leather stitched to a Cinelli 66x40 cm handle bars. Dated 1985 fluted 170 mm cranks non dated rear derailleur. This is the Super Record reduced group so the bottom bracket is NR and the pedals are the SL not the titanium ones. This bike was put together back in about 1985 and has never been ridden. Never even glued on the tires. So this is a brand new Campagnolo Super Record Gios Torino bike. 2799.99.pictures
  6. Used-Holdsworth One of my personal bikes will be offered here. It is an orange 59 cm center to center and 61.5 cm center to top of seat tube, with a 57 top tube. Full Reynolds 531 frame and fork. Also has a full Campagnolo Nuovo Record group with a Cinelli 40 cm bar and 11 cm stem. It has an older Wrights saddle. Very nice and clean. The only thing I may do if I ever get the time is change over from 27 inch wheels to 700 c wheels. Priced to sell at 999.99.pictures
  7. Used-Motobecane Jublee Sport 52 cm center to top 53.5 center to center seat tube with a 55 cm top tube. This bright yellow French bike is just about as new as you can get. I would guess there is less then 50 miles on this bike almost like it was put in a time capsule. This is set up with a mixture of early Japanese and French parts. The derailleurs are Suntour Blue Line and the seat post, bar, stem and crank are French. It has 27 inch wheels and a very quirky seat post. The tubing is Columbus Gamma.   8. Used-Peugeot PX-10 62 center to center and 63.5 center to top seat tube with a 60 cm top tube. This older all Reynolds 531 frame and fork has the, oh so sweet, Nervex lugs and the Simplex drop outs. I bought this for my self a few years ago and have been trying to get it closer to the original state. I found the super LJ simplex front derailleur and Simplex seat post. I also got the NOS Mafac brake levers for the bike. I am still looking for the front hanger and top tube clips. Nice sweet Stronglight cranks and bb and cool Millard Pro hubs. I was also looking for a French stem and bars that would go better then these Nitto bars and stem. The bike is a little too big for me so I am offering it up to my list at 999.99.pictures
  9. Used-Raleigh Competition GS 57 cm center to top 55.5 center to center seat tube with a 56 cm top tube. This 1978 all silver all Reynolds 531 frame and fork with Campy long drop outs is fitted with Campagnolo Grand Sport group but Campy NR brake calipers and Victory brake levers. Weinmann concave rims and a clean Brooks B15 saddle. Looks to be close to all original except the tires and brakes. The only problem I could find was a very small dent in the seat tube that may have been there since it was made you know those old English bikes and it is missing a dust cap on the left pedal.   10. Used-Schwinn JR Sting Ray. This was left at my door the other day by my friend Dan and he nor I really know these Schwinn bikes very well. Ray says the fork is not original The seat looks good as does the grips. I do not think the sissy bar was ever that tall from Schwinn but I do not know. I will be a fun project bike for some one and if it does not sell that may be me. Anyway as is and have fun with this cheep StingRay at only 199.99.

Road Frames.

  1. NOS-Basso Gap 53 cm center to center seat tube with 54 cm top tube. Red with Basso Tube Concept tubing. What can I say a fast bright red Italian frame. Price 499.99.pictures
  2. NOS-Desmarais Special 55 cm center to center seat tube with 55 cm top tube 126 mm rear and of course 100 mm front. Pearl white Italian made Reynolds 531 bike frame and fork that has some shop wear like little chips and scratchs and was partly built up but never finished the build up. It takes one water bottle has a braze on front derailleur and a 27.0 seat post. It also has Campagnolo drop outs and a Cinelli bottom bracket shell. I will toss in the Ritchey headset and the Ofmega bottom braket if you want. I think it was made in 1984 but that is just a guess. Priced at a sweet 499.99. pictures
  3. Used-Empella flat black 50.5 cm center to center and 55 cm center to top of seat tube, with a 53 top tube. All aluminum frame with a carbon fiber 1 1/8 inch fork. Set up with studs for cantilever brakes. This bike has seen some racing but not that much. No cracks or any really bad marks. If you wanted to try a little cycle cross or just wanted to do a little off roading fast you may want to take a second look at this bike. Priced to sell at 299.99.pictures

NOS-Frank Chamberlain 52 cm center to center burgandy with 55 cm top tube Campagnolo Record headset one of the best all time frame builders last frames he ever made before he went out to live out in Alaska.   5. NOS-Cinelli bright blue Aliante Team aluminum frame 50cm center to center and 52cm top tube with Cro-Mo fork sweet dark blue with yellow decales. Originally this 1999 baby was 999.99 now SALE PRICE 599.99 just this one left. pictures
  6. Used-Gitane Professional Tour De France dirty faded green paint 62 cm center to center with a 58 cm top tube. Beat green paint and decals with all chrome fork (I do not think is original) and some chrome on the stays. I think a Stronglight headset that looks nice. The chrome Simplex rear drop outs are spaced at 120 mm rear and the Campagnolo fronts are 100 mm. It is straight and mostly rust free as is the bb. It takes nut style brakes and a 26.6 seat post.   7. NOS-Somec Air 52 cm center to center with a 54 cm top tube. It is white with blue decales Very Rare. A great hand made frame from Italy Price 649.99. pictures

Groups.

  1. Used-Dura Ace silver short group. Crank 170 39x52, front and rear derailleurs and shifters, brakes nutted and looks like new levers and two cable clamps. A lot of this stuff looks almost new. Look at the pictures and see what you think. Priced at 499.99.pictures

Wheel Sets

  1. Roval 700c tubular wheel set. 18 aero spoke radial laced front and 24 aero spoke radial laced non drive and one cross drive side. If you know your wheels these were one if not the first true factory wheel set. Mavic was one of the first but these were before the Mavic Helium wheels. Comes with used Vittoria Corsa CG tubular tires, more show then go any more. Does not have any QRs or freewheel with it. Oh and did I say they are in very good shape.   2. NOS Martano rims with Omas hubs 700c tubular wheel set. 28 spoke front and rear 3 crossed with a spoke brand I can not tell looks like a "V" or maybe an "A" on the head. The spacing is 100 mm front and 126 mm rear. If you know your wheels these are some light weight very cool wheelset and they are perfect never glued or ridden before. American.

  1. Used-ControlTech seatpost 27.0x270 mm long probably cut down from 350 mm and as you can guess not a lot of scratches up high. Priced at only 39.99.picture

  7. NOS-Ritchey front sealed bearing QR hub 32 hole and some strange axle that flouts in the hub. Priced at 39.99 picture
  8. Used-Rocket BMX/track/Fixie 44 tooth 130-110 mm bolt circle 1/2 x 1/8 inch alloy ring. Yes it fits both 130 or 110 bolt circle cranks. Priced at 9.99 picture
  9. Used-SCOR pedal adapters that move the pedals out about 2 cm in perfect shape I use them to see if the pedals or cranks on this page are British threads or not. Priced at 19.99. picture
  10. Used Topline cranks were the hot American made crank in the 1980's and 1990's. They were the lightest crank out there for a time and then the billet aluminum crank fad died. These are 175 mm long with SRP titanium chainring bolts, Titanium crank bolts and SRP red alloy dust covers. The rings are Vintage Shimano 130 bolt circle 42-52 rings with no pick up pins. This crank I had set up on my personal time trial bike used only a few times in as many years. They are priced at 199.99. picture
